Cicero Day of Prayer 2018 Event Recap

Published On July 11, 2018 |

Tuesday’s weather couldn’t have let up to be a better day for a mid-summer day of gathering in the Town of Cicero. The beautiful weather made for the perfect setting for the annual Cicero Day of Prayer. Town Chaplain Ismael Vargas led the ceremony alongside various representatives from the religious community. There was an astounding amount of fiery prayer touching on topics of the importance of strengthening relationships within family, community, and leaders prayed for blessings upon our local administration and first responders. Taking a look into the crowd, it was easy to see how powerful some of the topics were as tears were seen flowing, individuals embraced as they praised, and moments of shock and awe as testimonies were delivered. We look forward to the next and invite you all to continue to deliver prayer for family and community year round!

Special thanks to Town President Larry Dominick and the Board of Trustees, Cicero Police Department, Cicero Fire Department, Community Outreach Department and all the churches and residents who came out to make this another one for the books!
